Jio Platforms IPO Gets Full Subscription in Just 100 Minutes

Mumbai: Jio Platforms’ IPO received strong demand from investors on its opening day, with all the shares on offer subscribed in just 100 minutes on October 21, 2026. The ₹30,213-crore IPO is set to become India’s largest public share sale.

The IPO opened on October 21 and will close on October 23. Each share is priced between ₹1,065 and ₹1,119. The company is offering around 27 crore new shares.

Where Will the Money Go?

Jio Platforms plans to use up to ₹27,500 crore of the money raised to repay loans taken by its subsidiary, Reliance Jio Infocomm. The rest will be used for general business needs.

From Mobile Data to Digital Services

Reliance Jio started in 2016 with low-cost mobile data and quickly grew across India. Today, its services include mobile networks, broadband, digital apps and cloud technology.

For the financial year ending March 2026, Jio Platforms reported revenue of ₹1.47 lakh crore and a profit of ₹30,049 crore.

The IPO has drawn major interest from large investment firms. However, strong demand for an IPO does not guarantee that its share price will rise after listing.
